St Thomas Tea Rooms

St Thomas Anglican Church

Friday, 12 December, 11am to 2pm, Loaded baked potato, Devonshire teas, mini pavlovas, smoothies and fresh juices. Come along and enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere, corner Adelaide and Hallett Place. This is the last ‘Tea Room Day’ for the year; we will be back on 23rd January after the Christmas season.

Cummins Christmas Tree

Friday 12 December to Friday 19 December, 10am to 3pm, Cummins Yeelanna RSL is adding to the Christmas events in Cummins with the Christmas Tree display. Entry is a gold coin donation per person. Voting by silver coin for the most popular Christmas tree is a fundraiser for the Cummins RSL. Children and youth are invited to enter a Christmas-themed LEGO creation as a separate category for judging. Text 0439 870 066 for details about putting in an entry.

Port Lincoln Social Dance

North Shields Memorial Hall

Saturday, 13 December, 7pm for 7.30pm start, Come and experience all styles of dance, Ballroom, Latin, New Vogue, Rock and Roll and Country Dance at the Hall with DJ music. Shared country supper and family fun for everyone. Lucky Door Prize. Practice opportunities every Tuesday afternoon, currently 4pm to 6pm. Come and give it a try for social fitness and fun. Christmas Craft Fair

Sunday, 14 December, 9am to 2pm, Local stall holders will have plenty of Christmas treats and gifts for purchase at this year’s Christmas Craft Fair. Judy Pearce and Diane Hester will be laying Christmas music on the community piano at 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Port Lincoln Multicultural Council Inc Shed

Sunday 14 December, 12.30pm, the Port Lincoln Multicultural Council annual general meeting will be held at Flinders Park (Kemp Avenue entrance), with the election of executive and committee members to occur at the meeting. People are asked to please bring a sweet or savoury to share.

Carols by the Beach

Tumby Bay

Sunday 14 December, 5pm, all are welcome to enjoy an evening by the beach at the Tumby Bay foreshore lawns, adjacent to the yacht club. Food stalls and kids’ pre-carols entertainment from 5pm, with carols starting at 6pm.

Monday 5 January to Friday 30 January, Stock up on your summertime reading at the Port Lincoln Library book sale during January. There is something for everyone – books, music, magazines, children’s picture books, puzzles and more. Proceeds will go towards early learning and literacy resources.

Every Friday night, Port Lincolnites are invited to the club’s Friday Night Members’ Bar from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Come and catch up with locals, bring a friend, get lucky in the meat tray raffles and enjoy a glass or two with a sausage sizzle.
