How long does conveyancing take?
The conveyancing process usually takes 30 to 90 days, depending on your contract and things like finance, inspections or search results. Timelines can shift, but we stay on top of issues to keep settlement on track.
Can I choose my own conveyancer?
Yes, you can choose. While agents or lenders may suggest someone, the decision is entirely yours. It is important to work with a conveyancer you trust – someone independent, experienced and focused solely on your best interests.
How much does conveyancing cost?
Costs vary depending on the property, the complexity of the transaction and the work required. Most conveyancers charge a professional fee plus standard search and government charges, which differ from matter to matter. A good conveyancer will clearly outline all expected costs upfront and keep you informed of any additional costs so there are no surprises at settlement.
