Variety – the Children’s Charity hosted its much-loved Variety Kids’ Christmas Party in Port Lincoln last month.

Hosted on Wednesday 19 November, the event was designed especially for local school-aged children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability.

The annual event also welcomes their carers for a day of joy and connection.

This year, 144 children, 62 carers and 22 volunteers joined Sheridan the Variety Bear and Father Christmas at Port Lincoln Hotel for a festive day.

A photobooth, balloon twisting and face painting kept everyone entertained, adding colour and laughter to the occasion, while the Marksmen brought the children’s favourite tunes.

Variety SA enjoyed welcoming children, carers, teachers and volunteers to the celebration filled with inclusive activities, community spirit and heart-warming holiday joy.

The organisers thanked the Catapult foundation, the Port Lincoln Hotel, Ultimate Celebrations and the Marksmen as well as all volunteers who helped make the day so memorable.
