Saturday 18 October, 10am to noon, Join in the Birthing Kit Assembly Day, as the Zonta Club of Port Lincoln endeavours to put 400 kits together, helping women and babies have clean and safe births in areas that lack proper hygiene.

Southern Eyre Bird Club

Sunday 19 October, 9am, Southern Eyre Bird Club’s next outing will be looking for shorebirds, with the destination to be decided on the day, depending on the weather. Meet at St Joe’s Triangle. Bring your own lunch, binoculars, cameras, etc. Car pooling should be available. All are welcome to attend.

Musical performance

Tim Barton

Friday, 24 October, 9.30am and 5.30pm, Port Lincoln Arts Council is organising a visit to Port Lincoln of international pianist Tim Barton. He is performing two concerts – the first is a Morning Melodies at Uniting Church on New West Road – followed by morning tea. The second is an evening concert on the community piano in the Civic Centre Atrium. Both events will have tickets at the door, $5 by cash or card. Friday 24 October, noon, the group’s next lunch will be at the Pier Hotel, while people will also be able to let their hair down at the Great Northern Hotel for the Melbourne Cup lunch, with a special menu available if you wish. CarnEVIL 2025

Gardner’s Vineyard

Friday 31 October, 3pm, gates will open for the Candy and Clowns Kidzone and Freaky Funhouse Marquee Maze at 3pm, with a kids costume competition at 5.30pm. From 8pm the scares intensify with an R18+ late-night horror maze experience running until late. All funds raised will support Ronald McDonald House.
