Port Lincoln Probus Club members and friends gathered on Tuesday, June 17 to celebrate the group’s 37th birthday at Kirton Bowling Club.
There were 43 members who attended the celebration, along with two visitors, who got to enjoy a delicious two-course meal served by Damian Mrdjen Catering.
It has been an exciting start to the year with six new members inducted, with Carly Cabot, Chris Nash and Jeanette Pearce inducted by president Valda Gover at the birthday celebration.
Happy Birthday was sung to members celebrating their birthdays in the month of June.
Rosa Franco was presented with a card and gift by Marilyn Povey for her hard work and dedication to find gardens for the members to visit over the years.
Members displayed an amazing and diverse range of crafts they have done over the years. Each member spoke about how they started their craft and Linc n learn was mentioned often.
The day ended with Happy Birthday sung to the club and cupcakes with the Probus logo were handed out to each member.
