A Port Lincoln retiree could not believe what had happened after a $100,000 windfall from a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The resident won the guaranteed first prize on Monday, December 4.

His ticket also scored a consolation prize of $1000 to bump up the overall tally.

“Oh, I couldn’t believe it – it’s such wonderful news,” he said.

“I purchase tickets into Lucky Lotteries draws now and then and I always visit the same place to buy my tickets. I never expected to win big and it’s very rare for me to even win a small prize.

“This will allow me to enjoy life a little bit more, and I’ll share it with my children. I’m still in shock.”

TerryWhite Chemmart on Liverpool Street sold the winning ticket and team members Tracy and Rose said it was a great feeling to see one of their customers so happy.

“What great news! It’s been two years since we’ve sold a major prize-winning entry and we’ve been eagerly waiting for the next one to land here,” Tracy said.

“Our winner was so excited when he checked his ticket at our outlet and realised a $100,000 win had come his way.

“We’ve started to decorate the store with many balloons and share the winning news with all our customers.”

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw.

As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
