Visitor guide launched

The Port Lincoln and Southern Eyre Peninsula Visitor Guide was launched last week in an event at the Marina Hotel.

The guide was a collaboration of the Port Lincoln City Council and WOOF Media.

“The guide is a key marketing tool for our visitor centre staff when selling and promoting all the wonderful things to see and do in the region,” the council’s economic and tourism growth manager Naomi Blacker said.

“With over 70,000 visitors into the centre annually, the printed guide is still one of our most popular brochures with almost all visitor groups leaving the centre with a copy.

“Handy maps, quick links via QR codes, detailed information and beautiful imagery, ensure the guide is informative and appealing, giving our visitors more reasons to stay longer and do more.”

WOOF Media managing director Peter Freeman said it was pleased to launch the latest edition of its longest running tourism publication.

“With the well-deserved industry recognition of Port Lincoln’s Visitor Information Centre as the best in South Australia, it’s exciting to see this special region being recognised for the amazing visitor experiences that we locals have lived and loved for generations.”
