The Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club have had a couple of busy months in the lead up to Christmas.

For November Happy Chat the ladies were asked to wear a hat.

A great variety of hats were worn with the winners being Marie Miller with her fly net hat and Dorothy Puglisi with her feather fascinator.

Their Christmas outing began with a bus trip to Wangary with lots of talking and Christmas carols being sung by 35 ladies.

Marian Monaghan gave out raffle tickets for a cushion she had made with Joy Smith being the winner.

The Wangary Hall was beautifully decorated for Christmas and they served a delicious two course meal which everyone enjoyed.

A memorial table was set up in remembrance of members Dorothy Tippelt, Isobelle Edwards and Lorna DeBock who have died this year.

Dianne Boyce and Christine Roberts dressed as a Christmas tree and an elf distributed chocolates to all members.

Jokes were told and a Christmas quiz was on the table. The two teams winning, answering 10 out of 20 questions correctly were Chris Nash, Glenda Fisher, Aileen Dodgson and Cheryl Wilson.

Happy birthday was sung to seven members who celebrate their birthdays in December.

Everyone agreed it was a very enjoyable day.
