Cummins
Friday 7 November, 10am to noon, the next Cummins Memory Café is in the Cummins Yeelanna RSL Hall. Enjoy information sharing, entertainment and morning tea. From 10am to 10.30am join in with the library’s Baby Bounce group at the Railway Triangle for some bubbly fun – weather permitting. Then have a chat over morning tea at the RSL Hall and meet local policeman Brevet Sergeant Ben Burgess. This is a free event supported by Cummins Lions Club and Cummins Op Shop.

Port Lincoln Social Dance
Saturday 8 November, 7pm for 7.30pm start, Port Lincoln Social Dance will take place at the North Shields Memorial Hall. Come and experience all styles of dance – ballroom, Latin, new vogue, rock & roll and country dance hall, with DJ music. There will be a shared country supper and family fun for everyone, plus a lucky door prize. Also, there are practice opportunities every Tuesday afternoon from 4pm to 6pm – come and give it a try, for social fitness and fun. Contact 0455 269 565 for more information.

Annual general meeting
Monday 17 November, 7pm, meet at the Senior Citizens Hall on Hallett Place for a talk from guest speaker Rachael Kannussaar about shorebird conservation on Eyre Peninsula, with a focus on threatened species and local monitoring programs that community members can become involved in. Refreshments will follow the meeting.

Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club
Tuesday 18 November, 10am, Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club’s monthly general meeting will be at Kirton Bowling Club. The Christmas lunch will be hosted at Wangary Sporting Complex on Tuesday 9 December – a bus will leave Kirton Bowling Club at 10.30am and return at 3pm. The cost is $10 for the bus and $50 for lunch. Please pay monies at the November general meeting.

West Coast Youth and Community Support
Wednesday 19 November, 2.30pm to 4.30pm, join West Coast Youth and Community Support for its 40-year anniversary with a carpark party at 1/7 Mortlock Terrace. There will be party snacks, rotary BBQ, smoothie bike, music, a bouncy castle and more.

Odette’s School of Dance
Saturday 22 November, 1pm and 7pm, head along to Odette’s School of Dance’s end of year performance at Nautilus Theatre, where you will be entertained with Tikki and the Storm Stallions and a variety of dance items. Tickets are available through Odette’s Dance School, contact 0458 538 493.

North Shields
Sunday 23 November, 9am to 2pm, a market day will be held at the Lions Hostel in North Shields, with the Royal Flying Doctor Service donut van to be there, along with the Lions Ladies, plus tea, coffee and cakes and the Lions barbecue. Saturday 29 November, 4pm, come along to the Port Lincoln foreshore for Carols by the Foreshore, a free community event. Pre-entertainment starts at 4pm, with carols from 5.30pm to 8pm. Bring your picnic rug, chairs, family and friends.
Combined Churches Fellowship Christmas Party

Tumby Bay
