Eyre Peninsula Dressage Club

Thursday, 23rd November, 7pm at the Wheatsheaf Hotel, North Shields. All members are welcome to come for the meeting and a meal at 6pm.

Friday, November 24, 11am to 2pm there will be pancakes, ice cream, strawberries and cream, a sausage sizzle and trading table at St Thomas T-Rooms. Located at Adelaide Place.

Zonta Club of Port Lincoln

Saturday, November 25, 6.30pm, the Zonta Club of Port Lincoln is hosting an event for the elimination of violence against women. A three-course meal will be shared at the Port Lincoln Hotel and guests are asked to wear orange. The guest speaker is Rabia Aftab. For more information contact Kaaren on 0438 407 700. Garage sale

Lafayette Drive

Saturday, November 25, 9am at Lafayette Drive, Port Lincoln, there will be a combined garage sale. No early callers please. Signs will be out on the day. For sale are household goods, crafts, books, toys, school clothes, fishing gear and plenty more.

Market

Port Lincoln Lions Club

Sunday, November 26, 9am to 2pm there will be a market at the Lions Hostel, 1055 Lincoln Highway North Shields. There will be a barbecue, market stalls, music, the Royal Flying Doctor Service donut van and more. To book a site contact Terry on 0437 499 094.

Nursing lunch

Retired Nurses from PLHS

Monday, November 27, 12pm will be the last lunch of the year for the retired nurses from Port Lincoln Health Service, to be hosted at Marina Hotel. Please call Shirlene on 0429 056 140 for bookings by Friday, November 24. The next lunch will be February 2024.

Christmas time

Christmas Tree Festival

Friday to Sunday, December 1 to 3, the Christmas Tree Festival will have various stalls and refreshments available at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Hall. Friday and Saturday times are 10am to 6pm, Sunday is viewing of the trees only from 1pm to 4pm at 95 Oxford Terrace, with a gold coin donation for entry.

Eyre Peninsula Environment Protection Alliance

Monday, December 4, 5:30pm to 9pm at 3 Tulka Esplanade, the Eyre Peninsula Environment Protection Alliance will be holding its AGM and inaugural meeting. All are welcome. Please bring a plate of food to share. RSVP or apology and willingness to be an EPEPA member via 0448 621 128.

Port Lincoln Carols on the Foreshore

Saturday, December 9, from 4.45pm, the churches of Port Lincoln are hosting Carols on the Foreshore. There will be pre-carols entertainment at Candy Cane Lane before the carols begin at 5.30pm.

Christmas festival

Cummins

Friday, December 15, 6pm the Cummins Christmas Parade will start. Food for sale and free entertainment at the Railway Triangle Park to follow. Businesses and community groups are encouraged to take part in the parade.
