Not-for-profits, schools and community groups based in regional South Australia can now apply for grants worth up to $10,000 as part of RAA’s Regional Safety Grants program.
The organisation’s annual initiative helps community organisations to fund a project, program or activity targeting a local safety or security issue.
RAA Insurance chief executive Tara Page said it was proud to support vital projects in areas such as road safety, security, education, lifesaving, firefighting and more.
“Our RAA Regional Safety Grants recognise the essential role local organisations play in building strong, safe and resilient communities from the ground up,” she said.
“Since launching in 2013 we’ve been able to support more than 150 organisations including CFS groups, schools and sporting clubs making a real impact in their community.
“We’re proud to play a small part through Regional Safety Grants each year.”
Applications for RAA Regional Safety Grants are now open and close at 5pm on Monday, October 30.
