The unoccupied Kowloon Kitchen building on Washington Street was damaged on Sunday.
Police reported that sometime on Sunday, October 1, the front window of the business was smashed.
The incident is being investigated and anyone who witnessed the event, or has information that may assist with the investigation, is asked to contact the Port Lincoln Police Station.
Kowloon Kitchen ceased trading earlier this year and the building has since remained unoccupied.
Drink-drivers lose licence
Police detected two drink-drivers at Port Lincoln on the weekend.
A vehicle was stopped on Mortlock Terrace at about 11.45pm on Friday, September 29 and the driver was submitted to a roadside breath test.
He allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.205 – more than four times the legal limit.
A 48-year-old Port Lincoln man was reported for drink-driving.
Police also stopped a woman driving on Kiama Avenue at about 1.20am on Sunday, October 1.
She was breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.158.
A 47-year-old local woman was reported for drink-driving.
Both drivers had their vehicle impounded for 30 days and were issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence notice.
Both will be summoned to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
